Last Updated: 1 April 2026
Company: WellSpend Limited

This Cookie & Tracking Technologies Policy (“Policy”) explains how WellSpend Limited (“WellSpend”, “we”, “our”, “us”) uses cookies, pixels, tracking identifiers, and similar technologies when you access or use our mobile application, website, and services (the “App”).

This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

By using the App, you acknowledge that certain tracking technologies are essential to cashback attribution, fraud prevention, login/session continuity, and core App functionality. Where non-essential analytics or similar technologies are used and applicable law requires consent, we will seek that consent in the manner required by law.

1. What Are Cookies & Tracking Technologies?

We use a variety of technologies that help identify your device, attribute purchases, and ensure that Cashback can be accurately credited to your account. These include:

  • Cookies
  • Tracking pixels and tags
  • Affiliate and referral identifiers
  • Device identifiers (e.g., IDFA, GAID)
  • URL parameters and click IDs
  • Session storage and local storage
  • SDK-based tracking, in-app browser, webview, redirect, click-through, or network attribution tools used by us, our Partners, affiliate networks, or service providers

These technologies do not give us access to your personal files, photos, messages, or device content.

2. Why We Use These Technologies

We use tracking technologies for the following purposes:

2.1 Cashback Attribution (Essential)

To determine whether a purchase, click, redemption, or other qualifying event is attributable to your account and eligible for Cashback or other Rewards when you interact with a Partner website, Partner service, or in-app redemption flow.

This includes:

  • Capturing the timestamp of your click
  • Passing affiliate identifiers to Partners’ tracking systems
  • Allowing Partners or affiliate networks to identify your transaction

Without these technologies, Cashback cannot function.

2.2 Fraud Prevention

To detect and prevent:

  • duplicate accounts
  • fraudulent clicks
  • fake transactions
  • abuse of referral systems

2.3 Service Functionality

To ensure proper operation of the App, including:

  • maintaining login sessions
  • remembering device settings
  • ensuring tracking continuity during redirects

2.4 Analytics & Performance

To analyse overall App performance and improve user experience.

We do not use tracking technologies to collect sensitive personal data.

2.5 Recommendations, Challenges and Promotions

Where applicable, we may use tracking-related event data, click data, browsing/viewing interactions, and campaign metadata to support recommendation, discovery, filtering, ranking, matching, challenge administration, promotion eligibility, reward-window logic, and fraud-prevention controls within the App.

3. Types of Cookies & Tracking Tools We Use

CategoryPurposeRequired?
Essential / FunctionalCashback tracking, login sessions, redirectsRequired

If you disable essential tracking methods, Cashback may not be tracked or credited.

4. Third Parties We Work With

We use tracking technologies provided by or integrated with:

  • Affiliate networks
  • Merchant Partners’ tracking systems
  • Analytics providers
  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
  • Mobile attribution platforms (if applicable)

These parties may set their own cookies or identifiers when you interact with Partner websites.

We do not share your phone number, email address, or bank details with these parties.

5. How to Manage Cookies or Tracking

You can manage tracking technologies in several ways:

5.1 Device / Browser Settings

You may disable or clear:

  • cookies
  • JavaScript
  • advertising identifiers
  • third-party cookies
  • tracking permissions

However, doing so may cause:

  • untracked purchases
  • missing Cashback
  • inability to attribute transactions

We are not liable for any Cashback lost due to your device settings, browser configuration, ad-blockers, VPN usage, or refusal of tracking permissions.

5.2 Mobile Settings (iOS & Android)

  • iOS Users: You must select “Allow Tracking” when prompted by the App to ensure cashback attribution works. If you select “Ask App Not to Track,” we cannot guarantee cashback credit.
  • Resetting Identifiers: You may reset IDFA (iOS) or GAID (Android) in your phone settings, but this may interrupt or invalidate pending Cashback transactions.

5.3 In-App Settings

(If enabled in future versions) You may disable certain non-essential tracking preferences within the App. Essential tracking mechanisms required for Cashback may not be disabled.

6. “Do Not Track” Signals

Some web browsers and devices may transmit “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. Because Cashback attribution depends on technical tracking to recognise your purchases, we do not process or respond to DNT signals. To earn Cashback, you must allow tracking.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated within the App or via email. Continued usage after updates constitutes acceptance.
